The pivotal role of a Teacher
" Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu,
Gurur Devo Mahesh Varaha,
Guru Shakshat pata Brahma,
Tamai Shri Guruve Namaha."
The above notable shloka upholds an enriching significance and moral. It celebrates the vitality of a teacher in our life. In the ancient times, the role played by a teacher was considered nearly equivalent to that of a god. A guru or teacher is believed as an idol incarnated with the amalgamation of the qualities of God. Brahma, an epitome of knowledge and the creator of this divine universe, Vishnu, one who is believed to guide the lost minds on the right path and generate the right ideas. Lord Shiva or Mahesh, who smolders the negativity from the mind and directs one to walk on the right path. Hence, when we worship or respect our teachers' , we eventually praise the divine entity.
"A guru is the one who paves the path to lead towards the god. World would have remained in dismal and ignorance, if a guru or teacher didn't exist."
As we celebrate the remarkable day i.e ' Teachers' Day' every year on the 5th of September, we commemorate the significant contributions made by our teachers all across the country. In the harsh moments of the pandemic, when the future of education seemed blurry, teachers' took up the responsibility of imparting education in a contemporary or advanced form that is online education. There are immense obstacles, but the teachers' have always tried to give their best. They have made significant contributions and have laid the foundation of hope.
Amidst the brutal and subsequent COVID waves, which the country suffered and is still battling with, there were many examples of teachers' helping their students with gadgets, so as to assist them for their online classes. Teachers' also risked their lives and also assisted students personally, in order to avoid compromise with their studies. Without any doubt, they deserve all the respect and endorsement. Our mind and is like an untamed garden, which is molded by our teachers', that subsequently blossoms.
Also, to recognize the work of teachers', Delhi Government has announced to felicitate 122 teachers this year, for their remarkable contribution in the field of education sector. This is applaudable!!
